# Why Evolution Is Religiously Irrelevant

Garden of Eden exists before matter. It is a purely mathematical
world. Pleroma in Gnosticism. The world of forms in Platonism.
Nous.

The fall of man is not Christianity exclusive. I think it is a way
more serious problem in Gnosticism. Returning to Pleroma with Gnosis
is literally what defines Gnosticism. In Hermeticism, man fell love
with nature. And was trapped by her. Men have become dominated by
fate since then.

The fall of man means the beginning of Becoming.



Adam and Eve mean the Platonic forms of male and female. Or maybe
even on a lower level. Like sun and moon. Or even sulphur and
mercury. But let's talk about them as sun and moon here.

A serpent convinces Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. And she gives
it to Adam. Then god expels them. So that they can't achieve
immortality.

Why a serpent? Why Eve first? Why fruit?

A serpent symbolises Becoming. Chaos. Apeiron. And it is a symbol
appearing in various religions. For example, there is Ouroboros in
Hermeticism. Ouroboros is the snake eating its own tail. An orbit.
That means eternity in Becoming. Mathematically, it means invariant.
Think of symmetry and conservation. So without the cycle, a normal
snake just means transformations. Sometimes a dragon appears instead
of a snake.

Moon symbolises female. The most direct relation is that
(Menstrual cycle) ~ (28.5 days) ~ (1 lunar cycle). Moon has a cycle.
Sun is always full sun. But the size of moon changes. So moon also
symbolises Becoming.

In contrast, sun symbolises Being. Logos. Order. And of course
male. For example, Apollo is the god of Logos in Greek mythology.
Pythagoras was called a son of Apollo because of that. In late
times, he starts to symbolise sun too. So Adam eating the forbidden
fruit symbolises that men are totally captured by Becoming.

A fruit is where seeds exist. It symbolises a life cycle. That
also symbolises Becoming. It also symbolises agriculture too.

After god expels Adam and Eve, they can't reach the tree of life.
It is a kind of "the world tree" in various religions. The world
tree connects all the underground, earth, heaven. The roots exist
in the underground. The leaves exist in heaven. So that means
eternity going through all spacetime. There is often a dragon
defending eternity. As I wrote, a dragon has the same meaning with
a snake. In that regard, the snake defended the tree of life from
Adam and Eve.



So the fall of man means the start of changing. Changes mean A
becoming not-A. By that, A dies. It is no more A=A. So it is the
start of death. God expelled humans from the purely mathematical
Garden of Eden to the material world. From eternity to the world
full of changes.

Evolution deals with just how bodies of men have formed. It assumes
Becoming. Garden of Eden exists before Becoming and matter.
Materialistically interpreting this just shows how secular and
materialistic they are.
