# The Myth Of Essence

There is a widespread myth that for everything there is an essence
so that other things are all just superficial details. If you know
the essence, other things are logically implied by it.

However, by that logic, all you need to know are the axioms. All
other things are superficial details. Since the axioms logically
contain all things. Do you seriously think like that?

I'm not saying that those essences are not important. But only
knowing them doesn't mean anything.
