# Stacking Gold For Esoteric Reasons

This might be crazy but I'm going to do it anyway. I'm going to bu
y gold coins for my spirituality.


In Hermeticism, there is no good in the material world itself. All
good is from god. But you can be saved by MAKING (Alchemy is liter
ally the study of making) the properties of materials good. The es
sense of god is creation after all.

The top of materials is gold. Because it shows the eternity. It is
highly resistant to corrosion so that it remains the same in thous
ands years. You can find it in its raw form because of that. In co
ntrast, silver reacts with some elements like sulfur in nature --
this partially explains why silver is feminine since sulfur is mas
culine. Silver is immune to oxygen and water though.

This is similar to the eternity of mathematical proofs. Both are p
erfect, incorruptible, eternal and not rustic. Because of that, th
e symbol of gold is the sun. The sun symbolizes god. Since it is t
he origin of light which symbolizes Logos. Logos also means reason
in general.

Hence making gold with other elements symbolizes the transmutation
from temporal and materialistic states to an eternal and spiritual
state. Of course, chemically making gold is impossible, but this m
etaphysical transmutation is always possible.


Technically, buying gold is different from making gold. But I can'
t make gold (everyone can't) and the eternity and nobility of gold
is still the same. Similar to other domains, I want to focus on th
ings that will still matter in 50000 years.
