# RAM Is Good

I've recently started to think that OS should run on RAM. Like Tai
ls. RAM is super fast, and really great for security. It's so clea
n, because all the data will go away at every shutdown. If you wan
t to save files, just use an external storage.

I recommend to try a ramdisk first. Change the cache, tmp, log, do
wnload directories into ramdisks. Your computer will be faster, an
d your SSD/HDD rw will significantly go down. You will not have to
clean your cache, because it will go away anyway. If you want to b
ack up, use a backup script, and set it as a cronjob.
