# On Ordinary Language

Literature is an organised violence committed on ordinary speech.
Especially poetry. More violence, better.

So while I appreciate the plainness of ordinary language, I don't
think it's the ideal.

Symbolic logic abuses ordinary language. It gets artistic merit by
doing that.
