# On Anti-Tech

I have no doubt on modern technology being harmful. But I recently
realised that going strictly anti-tech somewhat reinforces modern
technology.

Technology should be just a bunch of tools. It should not be an
autonomous self-propagating system. But strict anti-tech somewhat
reinforces that.

As Ellul wrote, modern technology goes through the dialectical
process. Anti-tech movement often comes as an antithesis. It just
accelerates the process.

We should transcend instead.
