2. The whole music should be contained in an octave, if possible
3. Hate the leading tone
4. Octoechos (8 modes)



## Octoechos

Final means the tone at which the music ends. It is similar to
Tonic. But it doesn't have to be the starting point.

Other modes were added later in the Catholic. But these were the
original 8 modes of the Orthodox church.
