# Maximize Your Power Recently when I think about Ted Kaczynski, I realized that what we truly need is power. And I can summarize many things that I've tho ught about with this perspective. * Complexity is bad, because It makes things hard to control. In o ther words, complexity makes you lose your power. * Being independent is good, because a power within the system is not a real power. * Small scale technology (or "Simple tools") is good, because you have the control. For example, you have the control if you use a handfan. In contras t, if you use an air conditioner, you will just borrow the power f rom the system. * Modernity is bad, because it limits an individual's power. So is yours. * Right to fix is good, because you can have more power if you can fix things. Also, thinkpad is the best laptop by this reason. * Consooming is bad, because it makes you dependent. So you will l ose your power. * To decentralize, Federation > Blockchain. Because in federation you will have your proper server, but on a blockchain you will not . You can have your "node" on a blockchain, but it has less power. * However using Monero (or even Ethereum) is good, because you wil l have a power against the state. But if you are overly reliant, y ou will lose your power because it's digital & online anyway. * If you have enough money, I recommend you to buy something like land, because you will have more power than other assets. For example, you can use that land for gardening. * Build a software from the source code is good, because it makes you have more control. * Similarily, free software is good. Because you will have more po wer. &c. Thus I concluded that "Maximize Your Power." will be an axiom. It sounds like Nietzsche and I'm not a big fan of him, but this is wh at I concluded. Be a power maximalist.
