# Left-Right Axis Is Overrated

They are not that different in general. They are both modern, and
worship "progress". Both are rules of quantity too. Democracy and s
ocialism are rules of quantity (mass). Capitalism is a rule of qua
ntity (money). Science and technology are also rules of quantity (
measure). Before modernism, god was all about quality, not quantit
y.

We need a more fundamental axis. Like quantity vs quality, order v
s chaos, linear vs circular, large vs small, physical vs mental, &
c.
