# I Like White

Sometimes there are people talking about the whiteness of my webpage.
They often talk about viewing my webpage with a dark theme.

But in fact I like white. Of course the main reason of the whiteness
is that I don't use CSS. But even if I used CSS, I will make it
white. There is no philosophical reason or something. I just like
white.

If I have to find philosophical reasons, white is one of the 4
alchemical colors. White reflects light the most. Light symbolizes
god and logos. It represents Brahmin caste. White is noble. You
should not taint white.



Similarily I like Alice Blue (F0F8FF). Any whitish blue is OK. If
it is on a white background, even normal blue is acceptable. That's
partially why there are blue links on my webpage. Of course function
comes first. But I find it aesthetically pleasing.

When it comes to black, I don't especially like it. But I like pen
& paper. Black foreground & White background is so beautiful. So
I use it for my terminal emulator too. I don't like the black
background hacky color schemes. But for dragged texts, I use Alice
Blue foreground & Black background.

If it is on a white background, I also like purple. I don't prefer
it for itself.

Sometimes I like the color of cherry blossoms. Not that reddish
ones.



Pythagoras also liked white. He wore only white clothes. Pythagoreans
regarded white as sacred. It made me write this post.

Although I'm not on his level, I genuinely like white too. Having
the master as a fellow white lover feels really nice.
