# Human Behavior Is Discontinuous In normal times, it is quite continuous. People do what they have been doing. But when a certain event occurs or they reach a critical point or they get new information, they make a leap. They take an action. This is also true for society scale. Societies make a leap. Revolutions happen. Democrats want to make it continuous, but that's how it is. However, social scientists make continuous models and differential equations. Some make the models stochastic. That's better but probability cannot truly capture a leap anyway. I don't think that those are 100% false. But those certainly have a limit.
