# Human Behavior Is Discontinuous In normal times, it is quite continuous. People do what they have been doing. But when a certain event occurs or they reach a critical point or they get new information, they make a leap. They take an action. This is also true for society scale. Societies make a leap. Revolutions happen. Democrats want to make it continuous, but that's how it is. However, social scientists make continuous models and differential equations. Some make the models stochastic -- that's better but probability cannot truly capture a leap anyway. I don't think that those are 100% false, but those certainly have a limit.
