# HTML Sucks

Why don't browsers natively support markdown? There are many exten
sions, but I can't assume that you use some of those. Why should I
write <a href=...>Link</a> when I can just write [Link](...)? Why
should I use <p></p>, <br>, &c. when I can just push the enter key
?

Of course, I can use any markdown to HTML converter. But I don't w
ant another layer.

I use *.txt for a plain text like this file, but it can't contain
images. I want "*.txt + images". That's markdown. Browsers don't s
upport it. Ah, web sucks.
