# Hipster Is An Economic Thinking

A hipster is a person who likes only minor or underground things
only because those are minor. Because those are minor, a hipster
feels that ownself becomes unique by liking them. Therefore they
are so prevalent in indie or avant-guard scenes but don't really
care much about personal independency of indies or Art for art's
sake of avant-guard.

But think about it. Why a hipster pursues minority itself so much?
If you want to be yourself, dismissing public opinions and just
liking what you like itself will make you unique even if each thing
is not minor -- well, that's what I do lol.

A possible reason could be that they implicitly think of minority
as scarcity. And uniqueness as a NFT. Scarce things are expensive.
I guess that's their reasoning.
