One is lonely. Two is uncomfortable.

Therefore humans have invented courtesy as the golden mean. Via
courtesy, one can escape from the loneliness without being too
uncomfortable.



I don't deny this universal harmony. But if you are actually
interested in someone, I think it's always better to break the
harmony first. Restore it later.
