# Have The Producer Mindset This is not a typical "consuming bad" post. Consuming is not necessarily bad. Though consuming only is bad. To understand things, having the producer mindset is necessary. Both for the mechanism and how to use and modify the things. For example, suppose that you eat a bowl of ramen. If you haven't cooked noninstant ramen yourself before, it might end up being just "delicious". But if you have, that makes a whole other world. It's not about deepness. You can analyse its nutritional profile or something and go deep. But in the end, it's just a reaction. This doesn't mean that author's intent is the only correct interpretation. Everything is a symbol. For every set, there are infinitely many set-defining conditions which result in the same set. I think all those conditions are equally correct. But knowing what conditions result in the set is fundamental.
