# Golden Ratio Budget I found this while applying the golden ratio to everyday life. I think this is the most Capricorn thing. So I write this first. ## Budget 1 : Phi 38.2% saving : 61.8% investing ## Explanation Saving means things the end goal of which is consuming. So it includes consuming itself. But it also includes things like buying gold just to hold the value. If you buy gold to prepare emergencies, that's an investment instead. Investing means investing in the future. It includes money making. But it does not need to be. Prepping, education, paying for a gym, buying nootropics, improving infrastructures, buying means of production, going self-sufficient, &c. all qualify. Let (38.2% saving) be the living expenses per month. Then you need 3.7 * (61.8% investing) for 6 months. 7.4x for 12 months. This is also the golden ratio. 12 / 7.4 ~ 1.62. Set it as an emergency fund. In physical cash. 6 months minimum. But of course you don't need to spend all (38.2% saving) every month. It is saving. The ratio is really the golden mean. It harmonises. Try and feel that. The world is designed like this.
