# Gnosis

Arete is knowledge. But it can't be taught. It is tacit knowledge.

The thing-in-itself is also mathematical. But in the end, you can
only show the mathematical thing-in-itself. It's not arguable.

That's what Godel's incompleteness theorems mean. You can't escape
from them. The world is itself mathematical. So you can only show
the math.

Music is mathematical. But in the end, it just shows. And that
showing is what art is for.
