# Faustian Trap

The endless march to the absolute. The myth of growth. The
neverstopping treadmill. The unachievable pursuit of infinite
knowledge.

"Ware Tada Taru wo Shiru", as the famous basin says. I have thought
that the phrase means anti-materialism. But now I accept it as an
anti-Faustian caution. Though this doesn't mean that I would accept
all of their frameworks.
