# Eating And Sex In an ancient Greek mind, these two were considered almost the same. So while not denying the pleasure of eating, it is an applause for life, things like binge eating were considered like sexual promiscuity. Alexander the great blamed Persians for using a lot of spices because of that. This thinking appears in Thoreau's writings too. Because he read a lot of ancient Greek stuff. I totally agree with this. But to add, I think the other way is also true. People often justify obscure sexual things with "Nothing unethical" arguments. Those have some points. But eating fast foods all the time is simply unhealthy. While it is not that unethical. Similarily I find it totally unhealthy if a person maniacally watches adult media that depict sex with insects. While that might not be unethical. It's simply not good for health. I made an extreme example. But I think it still holds even if it gets mild. So I think eating should be more an ethical subject. We should think of it seriously. Sex should be more a health subject. Unhealthy things are not good. Though it's not that unethical. While I'm nothing against sex itself. Sex is not a sin and sex with love is divine. And eating and sex should be linked again.
