# Don't Raise Your Standard Of Living

This is basically what Hiroyuki (the founder of 2ch and the current
owner of 4chan) has been saying. And I totally agree with him.

How much you can save money, and the minimum income you need for
your survival largely depend on your standard of living. But lowering
the standard is often extremely hard, while raising is so easy.
For example, if you start to use a $300 earphone, you cannot satisfy
with a $50 earphone anymore. Therefore it is extremely important
not to raise the standard from the start.

Don't raise your standard, just because you entered a college, a
company, &c. It will go full yandere and constrain you from being
free.
