# Do Not Use iOS

Someone sent me a mail which asks how to use ssh + openvpn on iOS.
Since the person said that I will help a lot of people if I can he
lp, I'll answer to it on my website.


1. I haven't used iOS so I don't know.

2. If you can have an iPhone, I think you can just have a computer
. Just use a computer.

3. You can use Tor or I2P anyway. Use them. If you need, use a Tor
bridge.

4. Minimize phone use at all. A phone is basically a spying device
. iOS makes it even proprietary. So I think the question is an oxy
moron.

5. If you HAVE TO use a phone, install GrapheneOS, LineageOS or so
mething. Then use only free software. Use F-droid.

6. Use Briar. You can use it without the internet and it uses end-
to-end encryption.
