For ancient Greeks, everything was objective. Surprisingly even yo
ur feelings and dreams.

Because of that, they externalized all those things as gods. If yo
u feel something, that's because the god of that type of feeling m
ade you feel. If you fell in love, that's because of Cupid's arrow
s. Similarily, they considered a dream a message from a god.

It feels like the worldview of a schizo and very interesting.
