# Intro Hello, I'm thricegreat. I decided that name, because I like Hermet icism. I will post anything I want to post. I'm not going to use JS and CSS, because I hate them. Also I'm not going to use an image if that's not absolutely essential. If a webpage does not have an image, I will upload it as a *.txt f ile. For an image, I will use 16 colors 640x480 PNG. The color pal ette is the same with TempleOS. It's better-than-realism. The main page is HTML 1.0 compliant. My HTML posts are HTML 1.2 co mpliant. This website is on [No CSS Club](https://nocss.club/). I'm planning to build a home server to self-host this website and many other things. If you want RSS, use this: https://neocities.org/site/thricegreat.rss # Personality INTJ 5w4 541 sp/sx ILI-Ni My personality is not the totality of myself. But I don't deny tha t you can explain most of my actions using these results. # Astrology Aquarius Sun - Capricorn Moon - Libra Ascendent I'm not much into astrology. But at least I really like the corres pondence between alchemy and astrology. Like "Mercury" meaning bot h the element and the planet. As above, so below. It feels like al gebraic geometry. # Current interests Hermeticism, Math, Philosophy, Simple Living, Neo-Luddism, Distrib utism. ## Hermeticism I'm more into philosophical Hermetica. Also I really like alchemy. I like its theory more than the practicality. I'm specifically into these things: * Human = God (soul & spirit) + Nature (body). * Sulfur ~= Energy * Mercury ~= Information * Salt ~= Structure &c. ## Math I do math since it is eternal. I want to do things that will still matter in 50000 years. Math is one of them. However, I've decided to make the level of math on my site suffici ently low. "Sufficiently low" means that posts will not directly i nclude graduate level stuffs. This is a general blog for various p eople, not a CV. So you don't have to worry about that. ## Philosophy I think: * The world is mental at the base level. * Ethics and truth are transcendental (depending only on god) * Morals and knowledge are totally subjective. * Cultures, languages, &c. are objective (depending on humanity). * Goodness comes from THE ONE (monad). * To get the truths of the world, ANYTHING GOES. I define: * Feminine principle -> Masculine principle: Art * Masculine principle -> Feminine principle: Tech More concretely, * Art = "Extracting form from substance" * Tech = "Applying form to matter to make a new substance" Therefore, Creation = "Art then Tech". Art as a result is made by "Art then Tech" though. Because it is a result. But even as a result, I think the core of art is "feminine -> masculine". * The purpose of art is 1. to turn the temporal into the eternal. 2. to SHOW the unspeakable part of the world objectively. 3. to idealize the world. 4. to defamiliarize. * The material world itself isn't evil. But caring only about it i s. We should make arts with it. [...] I'll add more later. I think this way is better than just listing some philosophers. ## Simple Living I like transcendentalists like Thoreau. But I don't like modern mi nimalists that much. Especially people who like apple products. ## Neo-Luddism > The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disas > ter for the human race. > > Theodore Kaczynski, "The Industrial Society and Its Future" I'm a power maximalist. I hate modern technology, since it restric ts an individual's power. This is also essentially what Ted Kaczyn ski said. I often study Plant Systematics for this reason too. Primitive peo ple could identify plants. Modern people cannot. This shows that i ronically people have less power over nature than their ancestors. ## Distributism Distributism basically means WIDESPREAD PRIVATE ownership of means of production. It is more than that though and is from Catholic so cial teachings. But you don't have to be a Catholic for distributi sm. I'm not a Catholic too. You should OWN your means of production. Big governments and big b usinesses are both harmful because they monopolize most of the mea ns of production. Because of that, they rent it or hire people to make people wageslaves or pesants. Instead, you should own some la nd and make your own infrastructure by yourself. For cooperation, cooperatives like Mondragon is good. To substitut e banks, there are credit unions too. Those are member-owned so th at if you work for them or use them as a member, you can vote for the elections and can get dividends as a owner. But if a cooperative becomes too big, it's basically nothing diffe rent from socialism. It becomes SHARING rather than OWNING. That's market socialism rather than distributism. Thus we have to avoid i t by any means.
